Nestled discreetly between the beloved coastal towns of Cromer and Sheringham, The Poplars is a rare and intimate retreat for those who appreciate the finer things. Behind every exceptional guest experience is an exceptional team. At The Poplars, ours brings together a wealth of industry expertise, creative talent and an intimate knowledge of the local area — united by a shared passion for hospitality and a genuine care for every guest who walks through our gates. They are not simply colleagues — they are, in every sense, part of the family.

Jack brings with him years of experience across the hospitality and leisure industry, having worked at parks throughout the country before making the Norfolk coast his permanent home. A deeply respected figure in the local community — both as a passionate Coventry City supporter and a dedicated football referee — Jack understands the value of connection, of care, and of going above and beyond. That ethos is at the heart of everything he brings to The Poplars.
 
Izzy’s path to Cromer is, in the most wonderful way, a love story. A classically trained make-up artist who honed her craft in London, she had visited Cromer throughout her childhood — drawn back time and again to this beautiful stretch of coastline. It was here that she found not only a place she adored, but the person she wanted to share it with. Her partner, a Cromer local, had called this corner of Norfolk home his whole life, and it wasn’t long before Izzy did too. She arrived with her creativity, her warmth and their beloved dog, and has never looked back. Her artistic eye and impeccable attention to detail ensure that every touchpoint of the guest experience feels considered, beautiful and just right.
 
John is, quite simply, The Poplars through and through. A Cromer native and our highly skilled engineer, he has been the quiet, dependable backbone of the park for many years. He knows every inch of this place and takes enormous pride in maintaining it to the very highest standard. Familiar, trusted and always on hand, John is the kind of presence that makes guests feel instantly reassured — and very much at home.
 
Together, they are not simply a team — they are the soul of The Poplars. And it is their dedication, their warmth and their unwavering pursuit of excellence that makes this such a truly special place to stay.
